Welcome to my Purr Scouts Page! This group is a lot of fun. We get to earn badges, go hiking, explore other guilds, make postcards, etc...! It's similar to the Boy and Girl Scouts, only for kitties on the internet.

Our motto is "Always be purrpared"! Visit the Purr Scouts by clicking on the emblem.

Every Purr Scout starts out as a Kit Purr Scout. I got my Explorer Purr Scout status by earning 3 badges. I got my Master Purr Scout (on 3/7/00) status by earning 10 badges plus completing a special service project, approved by the Purr Scout Council!



After I joined the Purr Scouts I took the Purr Scout Pledge which goes like this:

On my honor, I will try
To be the best Purr Scout
I can be.
I will enjoy and live
Life to the fullest,
And I will always honor
The way of the CLAW.

I earned my Mystery Badge by writing a mystery story. Here's the one I wrote:

Where's Marty Mouse?

I had just awakened from my first nap of the day. As I stretching, I realized that today was my birthday! Wow, my first birthday with my new family. Then I sniffed and smelled tuna so I went to check it out. It was my birthday cake. Tuna cake, yummy! As I was rubbing against meowmie, she gave me all of my gifts. I got lots of them but my favorite was a furry big catnip mouse. Meowmie told me that his name is Marty Mouse. I ate my cake and played with Marty Mouse all day. By late afternoon, I was pretty tired, so I went and took a catnap. When I woke up I went to check on Marty Mouse but I couldn't find him anywhere! I was getting furry worried so I meowed to meowmie to help me find him. We looked everywhere. Finally meowmie called to me. Guess what? She found Marty Mouse! Seems my daddy accidently kicked Marty Mouse under the stove. Bad ol' daddy! But since I was so happy finding Marty, I forgave him. After he gave me catnip of course!



For my Valentine's Day badge, I made a Valentine's card for the Purr Scouts Postcard Service. Here's the one I made:





I got my Postcard Designer Badge by creating a postcard for the Purr Scouts Postcard Service. I actually made 6. I had to resize these to make them smaller to put on this page. You can click on these to see the full sized card. Here they are:




To get my Craft Badge, I made a birdhouse from a milk carton. Me and meowmie decorated it and it looked furry pretty. I also had to suggest a craft project. I suggested a kitty pillow. You can get instructions to make your own by going to my Kitty Crafts page.

I earned my Earth Day Badge by making a banner. Here it is:
